It had been several years since...

It had been several years since I had visited the Spearmint Rhino in Las Vegas, and due in part to the positive reviews here, I decided it was high time I returned. I arrived around 8:00 p.m. on a weeknight, and it wasn't crowded. Since there wasn't much going on, a black dancer from Chicago named Toffee sat down with me while I settled in. She rubbed on me as I drank my first beer, so naturally I felt obliged to try a lap dance. Even though Chicago is a mostly pasties and hands-off town, Toffee has adapted well to Vegas, so I ended up having six dances with her.

Later a dancer named Michelle dropped by, and she was even better. I had eight dances with her. My only complaint with Spearmint Rhino is the volume of the music. It's too loud for my taste. Knowing this was a problem on my past visits, I brought a pair of ear plugs and used them when the music started to blast. Otherwise, I had a fine time.
