Was there on a recent Tuesday...

Was there on a recent Tuesday night while driving back to Texas from South Dakota. We stopped in to catch the Spurs/Cavs finals game and to see how Kansas clubs stack up to Texas. General decor/layout: mid-sized club with 3 different rooms. That night the only action was in the main stage room. This room has a figure eight shaped stage about 15 feet long with poles on each end and a steering wheel attached to the ceiling at each end, too (a feature I'd not seen before). The main bar is just off one end of the main stage towards the door separating the main stage from the second stage (smaller square stage). The club lighting was very bright compared to the ones in Dallas and Houston. The main stage was not too high and there are not chairs pulled directly up to it. Lots of small tables around the stage and booths lining the walls. The chairs and booths appeared to be pretty new. The thug factor was zero. This is white bread Kansas. Of the about a dozen customers, only two non-white guys and they looked like businessmen, too. Couple younger guys wearing jeans, t-shirts and ball caps, but they did not look dangerous. Waitresses were all white, pretty, "healthy" looking girls. They wore clothes akin to Hooters girls.

We saw about a dozen dancers, too. 8 white and 4 probably Latina. I did not see any black dancers. The dancers overall were pretty, but not like a high end Houston club. Generally they were about a 7 with one 9 (Gina) and one 4 (Heather, the owner's daughter). Few of the girls looked enhanced, with Heather the notable exception with the horrible boob job (as big as your head, but just not done well). Mix of body types. I spent some time with a 20-something, thin blonde with very small breasts. She gave a good dance with decent grinding. She also laid out the rules - no touching the breasts or butt (said she was fined by the club once for it). No talk or hint of extras. She talked too much about her kid, her roommates boyfriend troubles, etc. - real mood killers.

Club cover was $5.00. Drinks were cheap (see below though), but I forget the specifics.
