Glad I Came Back After All These Years

I finally made it back to The Admiral after not being there since I was in college, and it brought back a lot of memories. If you grew up around Chicago, this is the club everyone knows about. It's been around forever, and whenever someone asks where to go this is usually the first place that comes up. I went on a Friday night with a work group around 10:30 and it had a good crowd. I was surprised at how many people were from out of town. We brought two out of towners, but even the table next to us, all the guys were staying by ohare. It still is the place to go if you're staying around the city.

I'm a bit bias because of the nostalgia, The inside still has the old theater feel and for first timers, you'll see it's bigger than it looks from the outside. There's a large main stage in the center with plenty of seating, additional stages around the room, and private dance areas toward the back. The place is clean, security is visible without being overbearing, and everything feels professional/well organized. Most of the dancers were in their 20s and early 30s, and they were beautiful, friendly, and fun to talk to. No pressure on the weekend, club is busy, so the girls are not too pushy. The club has full nude , which is part of what has made it a go to over the years. It's BYOB keep in mind, but be respectful with what you bring.

As far as pricing goes, cover is $30 (used to be 20 when I was younger), floor dances are $30, and a three-song private dance was like $100. Didn't ask for extras and just hung out around the stage and a table, was there for work, so can't get too crazy. The pricing is straight forward, but it's high. It's in line with the rest of the Chicagoland clubs, but that doesn't mean the prices are not high. While I did say the girls weren't pushy, they move fast through the club, you'll get asked for a dance quickly and they'll move on otherwise. That's most likely a symptom of a Friday, but still, not everyone we were with has the same level of confidence, so some patience would have been appreciated.
