A visit to Denver
There was a 20 dollar cover for the club. You walk past the desk where you pay, turn a corner, and you're looking at the club layout. There are a few VIP couch seating areas, a bunch of tables that mostly seemed to have two chairs at them, four circular stages with seating all around, and two bars. Lighting in this club tends towards a red/pink tone.
Even simple drinks were about 12/13 dollars. More than I'm used to paying but not the end of the world.
We showed up about 9:30 and there was only one dancer on stage. Over the next 45 minutes or so a bunch of dancers and other patrons trickled in. I'd say about 10:30 the club had dancers on all 4 stages. Some stages had one girl, other stages had two and it kind of varied over the course of the night. The stages didn't have poles, so no pole dancing. Most dancers just danced on stage, only a handful gave any sort of stage side action. As it got later into the night some of the dancers would actually perform with each other, doing acrobatic stuff or grinding on each other.
