Same lineup, same cameras, but good hangout
I'll start by saying that this place is a good contrast to the one down the street. The dancers here are prettier, the atmosphere is so much cleaner, but the dances are far less enthusiastic. It's only so much of a contrast because both have cameras, but you can bounce back and forth between two different places if you want two different experiences right next to each other and are willing to pay the cover for both.
There's a fence surrounding bodyshop with an inside parking lot, but I park with other cars right outside the fence. I could never tell if the inner parking lot is only for dancers and management--or can I park there? On busy nights the line of cars parked along the fence goes way past the fence and into the grass and the nextdoor building. I've never felt like the area was unsafe, and right outside the fenced area it's well lit.
Got there a little after 9, got the pat-down outside, then went inside to the front desk to pay the $30 cover. The door to get in unlocked, and inside there's a small stage with a couch in front of it, and tables and chairs behind that. There's also a "bar" but it's really only to get singles or to pay $20 before getting a dance--they don't serve alcohol, but I've always been under the impression you can bring your own.
