There are a lot of bars in the area and four strip clubs/brothels. We stayed in Hotel Alexander and all four of the clubs are easy walking distance from Hotel Alexander (recommended for price, comfort, staff, and location).

The club is on the main street, upstairs. No cover, but the surly little security person asks for a $1US tip per person. No pat down and no metal detector.

The club layout is typical. Seating around the stage. Pool tables in the back. A small bar opposite the entrance, and friendly meseros. On our first visit (Sunday night) there was almost nobody there. We returned Monday night and there were about four mongers, six girls, and eight meseros. The music wasn’t overpowering and it was a mix of Spanish Pop and American Rock.
