The Latinas are the best at the Church.

I visited St. James on two consecutive rainy weekday evenings in April. Both dancers and patrons were fewer in numbers than typical of the Church, probably because of the rain.

St. James is situated in a light industrial area on the northern periphery of Houston, but the surrounding neighborhood, particularly to the east and south are a bit sketchy. Parking is totally safe, - well lit and guarded. Entrance fee is $10 daytime, $20 later in the evening. Dress code is informal but if you want attention from the girls, dress respectfully. The staff is very professional and if you're hungry, the food is quite good and portions are beyond plentiful at reasonable prices. A beer runs about $8 or $9 so figure on leaving the change from your Hamilton as a tip for a total of $10/brew.

Dancers on my two day visit were about 60% to 70% Latin-American, - mostly from Cuba.
