Decent Night for Decent Club, will come back

Stopped by Déjà Vu Showgirls in Chicago on a weekday night after midnight. Cover wasn’t too bad and they did have a drink special going. The club itself is smaller than some of the bigger Chicago spots, but it had a decent crowd and the vibe was pretty laid back. Music was good and the DJs kept things moving without too much downtime between sets.

The dancers were generally attractive and pretty friendly about approaching customers instead of just staying on stage. Hustle level was there but not overly aggressive compared to some places downtown. A couple girls sat and talked for a while before pitching dances which I appreciated. Prices for private dances were about what you’d expect for Chicago — definitely not cheap, but not outrageous either.

Stage rotation stayed active and there was always something going on. Bathrooms and seating areas were cleaner than expected for a late-night visit. Security seemed relaxed but attentive enough. Crowd was mostly regulars mixed with tourists and guys getting off work late.
