sinclair's Review
I went to Baby Aces at 20:05 on a Tuesday night. The parking lot is gravel, and the building is not very large, maybe 1,600 square feet. There was a $5 cover charge. No sleeveless shirts are allowed, so I had to go back to my rig and change shirts. It happened to be $2 Tuesday, which meant domestic beers were only $2, and all other drinks were half off until midnight. Needless to say, I overindulged this particular evening with the excellent alcohol prices. Shots were only $5. Jello shots were only $3. After midnight, domestic beers reverted back to their normal cost of $4 and import beers reverted to being $5. However, if you bought a bucket of beer, prices were still very reasonable: $20 for six domestic or $25 for six imports. The ATM has a maximum withdrawal of $400 and charges a $5 fee. Interestingly, the ATM paid out in $10 bills instead of the normal $20 bills. Smoking is allowed inside.
The stage is a peninsula coming off the left wall. It is shaped like a stubby lollipop: a runway with a circle on the end. The circular part has a spinning pole. Barrel chairs surround the stage. Video slot machines and the ATM are along the back wall. The bar was crescent-shaped on the right side. The redhead bartender, Cheyenne, was arguably as good looking as the top dancers here.
There were nine dancers working. There was a good mix of ethnicities and body types, but no dancers that I would rate 7.5 or higher. The stunners tend to work in bigger markets like New Orleans and Baton Rouge. Dancers generally kept their tops on while on stage. Most would not remove their tops unless they were getting tipped. I did not get any contact at the stage when tipping.
