sinclair's Review
I went to The Palace Men's Club at 22:00 on a Monday night. There is parking in front of and behind the building. The door is on the south side of the building, facing the fence. There was a $10 cover charge. I got wanded by the doorman with a handheld metal detector. The main stage is a peninsula on the left with two poles. The main bar is in the rear of the room. There was a secondary stage and a smaller bar in a roped off area on the right side of the room. A third stage is in the back adjacent from the bar. Sincweisers were $6. A pineapple Malibu for a dancer was $8. The ATM had a maximum withdrawal of $800 and charged a ten percent fee. The club has a restaurant on site referred to as Sorority House that prepares steaks, seafood, pizzas, salads, pasta, sandwiches, and snacks. The kitchen offers food until midnight most nights and until 03:00 on Fridays and Saturdays. The washrooms are located in the vestibule next to the desk where you pay the cover charge.
Lap dances were $20 per song out on the main floor. Dancers strip down to topless. Generally, dancers prefer to take the customers to one of the corners of the room, so there is a minute amount of discretion. There were private dances offered on couches in a more secluded area in the back left corner. There was a $50 access fee to use that area, and then you still have to pay $20 per song. There is a very private VIP area inside the back wall of the club. The access fee was $150, and you still have to pay dancers for the private dances on top of that. I did not see anybody using the two areas that offered more privacy. Everyone seems to just buy the floor dances for a Jackson. When I asked why someone would pay $50 or $150 just to use a more private area, I was told there were some guys who were shy about doing lap dances when other customers could watch. Customers are allowed to touch all over. Dancers grabbed my hands and placed them over their boobs.
There were fifteen dancers working. There were a variety of body types. Most dancers seemed to be Hispanic or white. There was a significant Cuban contingent working at The Palace. While over half of the women were too old or too heavy for my tastes, I did find four or five that met my standards. I got lap dances from three different dancers. I did not have any problems with dancers overcounting, and all of the dancers waited until the next song started to begin dancing.
