"In the old days, the place was crawling with college students and you could always find a place to sit. Now, Friday nights are just awful in terms of PL traffic. If you get out of your chair, you're probably losing it and standing for a while." The first sentence in this quote is contradictory. Shouldn't it be "but" instead of "and"?
