"Like Night and Day" -- and I like day better

I've been to CB dozens of times, but always during the afternoon. Recently an acquaintance who I know also likes to take in strip clubs occasionally asked if I'd like to join him on an evening visit to CB during a recent weekend. I'm more than a decade older than he is, so I'm not prone to driving at night whereas that doesn't bother him, so off we went.

The parking lot was quite full, but we found a spot in the back. (On my daytime visits I almost always park at Jerry's across the street.) It's lit reasonably well, and there was a guy in a lawn chair out there; don't know if he was "security" or just a behind-the-scenes worker taking a break. Upon entering we paid the $5 cover and had a brief pat down. Both were first's for me at CB.

Another first were the Chica greetings as we made our way to the bar. I've always welcomed a SH upon arrival, but in the afternoons it wasn't always provided (maybe 1 our of every 5 visits). However, this evening it was plentiful, with two different dancers "introducing" themselves quite openly. The push for buying a drink was also way beyond what I ever experienced during afternoon visits. It was annoying; I don't mind buying dances, but I'm just not into buying over-priced shots for strippers.
