Discount Saturday At The Hippo

After a very brief and completely pointless trip to Buck's Platinum (the only women there were the angelic blonde door girl and the pretty, tattooed bartender), I rolled into the Hippo's parking lot just before 4:00 PM.

The parking lot at PH is not fenced, but I'm sure there are cameras I've never noticed. The club isn't located in a particularly shady part of town, and I've never felt unsafe parking there. This time around there were maybe fifteen cars in the lot.

I left my coat in the car in hopes of saving a buck or whatever they charge for coat-check at the Hippo. However, the door was unmanned (unwomanned?) and after standing there like a dipshit for two minutes waiting for someone to charge me an entrance fee, I walked in. Turns out there's no cover during the day, but according to the listing here on TUSCL the evening cover is $10. I believe they also scan your ID, so I got to skip that nonsense.
