Daytime Doldrums

Night Shift originally opened at 6PM and it was so dead for the first 2-3 hours the old ownership moved opening back to 8PM (and it was still pretty quiet until 10PM, especially on weeknights). Now that it is under new ownership, Night Shift opens at noon daily. With low expectations but seeking to satisfy my curiosity, I visited to see what the experience is during the afternoon.

Spoiler alert: "experience" is too kind a word.

The basic details: Free parking, lock and secure your car, got patted down by security but it didn't feel invasive, dance prices clearly listed on little cards on tables (200/15, 350/30, they tout those as 'industry standard', please try to control your laughter), cameras plainly visible. The physical facility is nice- bar, tables, cushy chairs by a stage that has a rotating pole and a mirror backdrop, TVs set to sports, all the usual stuff you expect.
