All it takes is one.

As we all know Desires has long been my favorite local club. As with other clubs, sometimes it's up and sometimes it's down. Lately it has been down, and a lot of dancers either never come in or come in sporadically. Countless number of times over the past 6 weeks dancers have told me they are trying different shifts, days, hours; anything to improve business. Since Halloween I swear I hear echoes in here.

The layout is the same: As you enter there are the CR s to the left and a hallway leading to the seldom clean, never totally gross men's room. As you enter there is a rail across from the cr entrance. Any dancer leaning on the rail is there waiting for you to approach. The stage is to the left with chairs/tables and a smaller stage with a huge tv screen against the far wall. To the right of the back stage is the door to the smoking patio and along the rear and back tight are the lap dance cubicles, followed by the DJ booth and a seldom used seating area. TVs are all over the place. In the center back are two rectangular bars.

Dancers standing in-between the bars or against the back wall under the DJ booth are hoping you come up to them, so bust a move. Beers are now $7.00, although I left wondering if they have now gone up to $8.00. Buy a silver card for $20.00 and they load $25.00 on it. Not a scam. Bartenders are competent and friendly. Staff is friendly and myob.
