Weird encounter on a lazy Saturday.

Saturday afternoon visit after a round of golf. Ubered so no parking charge and I dropped the hostess a couple singles on my way in.

Despite a decent crowd, 20 girls and about 15 patrons, it seemed incredibly slow for a college football Saturday. I took my usual seat at the back bar but there was no action so I moved to the main bar to grab a drink and look for something I liked. Surprisingly decent effort on the bar stage fwiw.

Didn't really see anything I liked so just watched games and stage. About 25 mins in, a regular came up telling me i'm in his seat. I just laughed and said move around but apparently this guy was forreal and eventaually brought a bartender over who told me she give me free beers if I moved for him. Never knew this place to cater to regulars like that, especially at the bar, but I ended up with 4 more beers for just a $5 tip so I'm not complaining. Curious if anyone has had a similar experience.
