Slow Friday Night in Baltimore

Was passing through Baltimore for business and had never visited the infamous Block. After briefly checking out other places nearby, which were all pretty dead around 7 pm on a Friday night, decided to visit this place based on some word of mouth from dancers at other clubs.

Doorman charged $5 cover even though it was early, promising that there were 5-7 dancers getting ready -- not even close. Walked into a nice and spacious club with a bar in front and a dance floor behind the bar and two more on the sides. But only one dancer talking to a regular. Should have probably left then, but spent some time talking with the very attractive bar tender and had a couple of lite beers ($10 or so).

Luckily there was a game on the big screen TVs, which was the only entertainment available for the hour or so. Kept waiting for more dancers but none showed up. Meet some other patrons who seemed like regulars (guy and a couple of girls -- off duty dancers perhaps).
