Wish there was still a good reason to visit Ricks.

I don't understand what they're expecting with their price hikes.

Been to Rick's many times last year during business travel and had good enough times even though they were pricey. Fast forward a year later. Nothing about the actual location or non dancer services has changed. Cover is still $16 for the evening. I do follow them on social and they don't really follow the musical theme nights btw.

The real story is prices. A basic 1 song dance is now $65 and a $5 charge to get in the dance area! Last year it was just $50 and no charge for the dance area. That's a 30% jump! Last year, if there was a dancer I really liked I'd do $200 for a 15mins (better value than getting 5, normal 3 min dances at $50) in the larger booths with curtains. This time they were asking for $300!
