Hustler Club Shreveport, La.

My wife and I visited this club together for the first time in late August. We prepaid $250 for a VIP booth with champagne. There was a little confusion with the staff about the prepay, but the manager quickly stepped in and got us seated.

We arrived around 7–8 p.m., which was definitely too early—the place was still warming up for the night and most of the staff was “getting ready.” That said, the girls we did meet were very nice. We tipped $20 to anyone who came over to chat, and my wife took the lead as the “selector.” Eventually we met Vixen, who matched both of our tastes perfectly. Out of respect, I tipped the girl who introduced us $40 and asked if she could send Vixen our way.

We ended up doing the upstairs VIP room, which was $600 for an hour and topless (the downstairs option was cheaper but not topless). The room itself was spacious with a big couch and a small stage, but unfortunately the AC was really struggling. Management actually set up bins of ice with fans blowing across them to cool things down—it helped, but it was still very hot. We even thought about leaving at one point.
