I went to the Wild Orchid Cabaret at 22:45 on a Wednesday night. The parking lot is on both sides and behind the building. There was a $6 cover charge and a pat down for weapons by the doorman. The doorman also begged me for a tip, which I declined to give him. The bar is on the left side of the room. Twelve-ounce domestic beers were $5.75. The bartender told me she was sold out of Sincweisers, so I had to settle for Sinc Lights. I bought a dancer a shot of Patron. It was $12 and absolutely tiny. I would say the shot was only about a half of an ounce. The business clearly wanted to gouge customers, while preventing the dancers from getting loosened up.

The main stage is in the back of the room against the back wall. It has two poles and a metal ring hanging over it. In the middle of the room is a small secondary stage with a pole. It comes off of the north end of the elevated bar area. There is also a small stage without a pole stage on your right as you enter the club. This third stage was never put to use. No contact is allowed at the stage. Customers just toss their dollars onto the stage and get nothing in return. Lap dances take place on leather couches on the right side of the room. Lap dances are $25 per song. You can touch the dancers all over, but local laws don't allow the dancers to get topless during dances. The VIP rooms offer more privacy; if I remember correctly, they start at $150 for fifteen minutes. There are cameras everywhere, so extras are not possible.

There were only seven dancers working. Three were black. Four were white. All of the dancers were either too heavy for my liking or had baby damage from pregnancy. I ran into two different dancers who exhibited scarring from cutting themselves. The Wild Orchid Cabaret definitely seems to be the urban/BBW option of the two topless clubs in the metro area.
