Friday Night Union

I was in the SE Portland area on Burnside and decided to stop by Union Jacks. I hadn’t been to Union Jacks in a few years. Union Jacks is very close to downtown Portland maybe a few minutes away. I believe there’s a small parking lot behind the club. Other than that, it’s street parking. There are quite a few bars/clubs in this area, so I would assume a lot of bar hopping, so the weekends might be really busy here.

I walked in at around 11. 6 bucks cover, pat down, and scanning of driver license. There are two stages, one in front of you, and one in the back behind the bar. One thing I noticed right away was there not a lot of seating, a few couch seats at the front, bar seats, and a few couch seats at the back. This is also a very small club, it wasn’t too busy at this time, but if it gets busy it could be very crowded in there. They do have an outdoor smoking patio. This club is definitely a dive bar club feel. The girls did 2 song sets on stage, both stages were in use.

Customer wise a mix of younger and older people, I was a bit surprised, I thought it might be more younger people due to the area. There were maybe 8-10 girls that I saw. Most of them being in the 5-6 range with one of them being a 7. Mainly white girls with a couple of mixed girls. No real outstanding bodies, but no fatties either. Some of the girls were tatted up. Girls looked to be mid 20’s to early 30’s.
