A return to the club scene

Returning to the strip club scene after a several months hiatus.

Cheerleaders is a more or less upscale club, one of the nicest in Philly and at this time probably the most popular. It’s located just off I-95 and the Schuylkill Expressway and near the sports complex. Relatively easy to get to. Inside, the main layout feature ris one large wrap-around bar with three stages with multiple poles. Disappointingly the ceiling is rather low so pole acrobatics are seriously limited. There is one other stage outside the bar which I’ve only seen used on weekends. Most seating is around the bar with five or six booths on one side. The bathroom is modern and well-kept with an attendant in the evenings. The lap dance room contains 10-12 small low-walled booths, each open on one side. The VIP room has 6-8 booths with curtains giving reasonable privacy. I’ve never seen the top-scale Champaign rooms. Dancers get topless on stage.

Costs: Entry - free during the day, $5 or $10 at night; water or Coke - $4; lap dances - no room charge, $20/dance except Tuesday when it’s 2 for $25; VIP room - $180/15 minutes, roughly twice that for a half hour; Champaign room - not sure since I’ve never been there but I’ve heard $600 for starters.
