Shabby But Cool

I’m normally a daytime visitor but I’ve managed to visit here in the evening a few times now, and I’m glad I went.

THE PLACE: It’s located right off the main drag of the business district in Manville on a side street that becomes residential very quickly. Street parking is easy, and never park in the private lot across the way. You’ll get towed. The entrance is set back from the street, and you enter, walk up a short flight of stairs where you usually will be greeted by the doorman/bouncer. The bathrooms (and the dressing room) are off to the left of this area. This place is beat up but respectable. It’s never going to be featured in “Better Homes And Gardens,” but you’re not really there for the decor, are you?

THE COST: The door charge is $20, and a 15 minute VIP is $125. IIRC, 30 minutes is $200. Plus, of course, whatever you negotiate with the dancer. Typical lap dances are $25/each if you want to go for a “test drive.”
