I had to see for myself
I stopped by Wax around 6:30 on a Thursday. I was charged $5 to park and after a brief pat down there was a $10 cover. When you walk in there's a small stage and a couple of pool tables in front of you and a bar to the right. I went to the bar and discovered that they still don't have a liquor license. I got a bottle of Fiji water and a cup of ice for $6. I took my water and walked around to see what's what as I haven't been there in awhile.
The big high top table that used to be to the left of the rear bar is gone. There's just an empty space there. There are still a couple of high tops beside the left hand stage and one in the middle of the club but all the rest are low top tables. I sat down at one of the low tops and was soon approached by a slim but well endowed AA dancer. BTW this is an AA club. I was the only white guy in there but I did not feel uncomfortable about it. After a brief convo she asked me about dances and after I agreed she led me to one of the high tops. I got 3 dances from her (dances are $5 each), gave her a 20 and sent her on her way. Her dances were good but no stick shifting. This is a bikini club so clothes stay on.
Next to approach me was a young curvy dancer named Juicy who said she was "trying out" Atlanta. We chatted and I got a couple of dances from her. Again a decent grind but no stick shifting. I used to be a big fan of Wax in its heyday before they lost their liquor license but this trip I was bored. Until they get their liquor license back I probably won't return.
