Interesting ID Check

The remodeling seems to be complete so I will describe it mostly as it is today.

The club is on Lake City Way so north of the core. Great if you are coming from the north end; awful if you are coming from the south end. Smaller parking lot with no apparent security staff. Some folks seem to be parking next door (a cool Roadhouse open only a few nights a week). Lot is paved but if you end up next door, that lot is mostly gravel. Neighborhood has some issues but isn’t Aurora by any stretch.

Entry fee plus one drink minimum. Alcohol now being served. They appear to be digitally scanning ID now — that is new. It used to be a quick peek under UV. That almost certainly means that data is being stored. Can’t say how securely or for what purpose. Does anyone know anything? In any event after you pay and they handle your id for a bit, you are directed to the bar. Entry has historically been $21 with soda. I honestly don’t recall on my last visit.
