Sucky friday night, i think it’s only worth it on Wednesdays

My partner and I rolled into Knockouts technically early Saturday morning, just after midnight following a Friday night out. First surprise was the parking situation – $5 to park in their lot, which I honestly expected to be free for customers. The second sting was the cover charge: $20 per person. I'd heard it was usually $10, but apparently, the price jumps after midnight. So, right off the bat, we were down $45 just to get in the door, which felt steep for what we encountered.

Inside, the setup is definitely unique. There's a central bar area and plenty of seating scattered around. One wall is lined with TVs, which is good if you want to catch a game. The main attraction, however, is the boxing ring smack in the middle of the floor, with the pole right there in the center of the ring. It's a pretty kinky and unusual gimmick, I'll give them that. Atmosphere was typical late-night club.

The dancers were... okay. The stage performances involved pole work in the ring, but nobody went fully nude while we were watching; some did go topless. Unfortunately, none of the performers really stood out or caught our eye during the sets we saw. I tried waving at a few girls walking the floor, and some did wave back politely, but that was the extent of the interaction. Despite us sitting together, not a single dancer came over to our area to say hello or chat, which was disappointing.
