Club 205 has the best dayshift in the city

As I’ve gotten older, I have less and less desire to be out at a strip club at midnight, I would rather be in bed at that time. As a result of that, I’ve been looking at clubs with good day shifts, and I think Club 205 has the best dayshift right now.. I’m someone who likes a club with lots of dancers (lots of dance options) and somewhat steady/busy (not wanting to be one of the few customers there). Generally at the clubs you will find this at nightshift, not really dayshift. The clubs at dayshift are generally more laid back, customers more on the older side, fewer dancers, dancers a bit on the older side.

I’ve been checking out 205 dayshift over the last few months. Generally get there somewhere in the 3:00 hour. They have a parking lot, and then there’s street parking in front of the club. The parking lot is usually almost full. There have been a couple of times where I took the last parking spot in the lot. It can be a pain trying to exit 205 during traffic hours (4 to 6). It’s a block down from 205 to jump onto the freeway, so during traffic hours everyone is trying to get on the freeway, so sometimes traffic is backed up.

No cover, no ID check, no bouncer. The bouncer doesn’t come till around 4 or 5 I believe. I’ve been going to the downtown upscale clubs, and they don’t allow basketball shorts, but no such dress code at 205, you can walk in with basketball shorts, sweatpants etc. The club is very dark, it took me a couple of minutes to adjust to that. They have cheap happy hour drink specials, $2.50 until 7pm. They have lottery machines. They have 2 stages, usually only one is in use on dayshift, they use both stages at night. The girls do 2 song sets on stage. 205 has more of a bar vibe than a strip club. A lot of customers come in groups to drink. I don’t see most of them getting dances.
