Maybe miserable is okay?

Maybe for a total of $12, this visit wasn't terrible. Maybe just miserable.

That's right. I was there for 35 or 40 minutes after work one afternoon and spent just $12. Beer was $5. Bartender got $3 in tips. Two forgettable dancers took $2 each. I bet the stage was empty a third of the time I was there. Shouldn't be that way.

I've come to understand that what Risque lacks in energy it usually makes up in talent. To my expectations, talent should be youngish and slimmish. Plus slutty in attitude and behavior. This afternoon I wasn't seeing any of that. If there were more than five girls working, they were in the dressing room or in a private room. The four or five I saw were older, thicker. A couple were Latin. A couple white. One did a dance downstairs. One was preoccupied by one guy at the bar. The others wandered or got lost.
