Slow Saturday Night

I decided to give this club a try after about a 3-5 year absence. I know what I’m getting myself into as this place is a tourist trap but I had an itch try check it out. I parked at Caesars and walked over a two blocks. The street were very busy as a show was letting out of boardwalk hall and I thought the club could be very busy.

I arrive and they still have their no cell phone rule but I left mine in the car. Don’t bring your phone and save yourself the trouble of checking it in. Cover is $40 which is expensive but it’s Saturday night at 11:30pm so not totally unexpected. I walk in to find about 4 other customers in the club. I was shocked as this place used to have lines to get in.

A girl comes over and offers me a “free” tour. I declined and watched the girls on stage. Girls were fairly attractive but heavily tattooed. Another girl comes over for the “free” tour I pass again. The girl on stage comes right over to me and offers the tour again. At this point I ask what the dance prices are. Their famous no touch dances are now $42 per song. I had to laugh at the extra $2 for no reason but the girl gives me the good news. If I take her and her girlfriend it’s $84. I inquired about a 15 minute dance in a more private area they used to have for $150. It’s now $210 and if I take her girlfriend it’s $420.
