It was Wednesday night, and I wanted to see some titties, so I headed over to Larry Flynt's Hustler Club. It's just off Broadway, near some of the other clubs. There's a door on Columbus, but I think it might be an emergency exit only, because it was locked. You have to enter on the Kearny side. In I went, and down a long staircase to the showroom. I paid $25 cover and went in.

The main room is practically a cliche of a strip club you'd see in a movie or TV show. There's a large, shiny bar to the right just as you enter. It's well lit (some might argue too well lit?) and spacious, with lots of little cocktail tables scattered around and long benches against some of the walls. The room is kind of a rough oval, with a small stage in a lowered pit in the center. I liked the design of the place, and I would have scored it higher, but it's in need of repair. Practically all of the low vinyl chairs had ripped upholstery, and the tables weren't in the best condition. Good thing I didn't come here to stare at chairs for two hours.

The place was busier than I expected for 10pm on a weeknight. Probably 15-20 girls, mostly in the 6-8 range, and slightly more customers, including two small groups taking up some circular seating areas. (Not sure if you had to pay extra to sit there, but I don't think so?) The stage was occupied at all times, and most of the girls were pretty energetic dancers (but no pole acrobatics or anything like that). I could see this being a decent place to just grab a few drinks and enjoy the show.
