Expensive low-contact bikini club
Driving between Orlando and Tampa for work, I saw a highway signed and pulled off Interstate 4, and drove the 5 minutes to the club. Basically, it's a bikini bar that charges what I consider very high rates for no real contact, but this is basically because of restrictions due to the neighboring county (Polk), with its family-friendly policies. The club is basically a block from "County Line Road," dividing Polk and Hillsborough counties, the latter including Tampa and its far more active options.
When you walk in at night, cover was $10. There's a pool table that you walk past, a long bar on the left, and a long stage with two poles on the right. Seating all over the place. To get single dances, you pay a $7 fee to the house, then $20/dance; you need to pay this house fee every time you go back. There are 15-minute VIP rooms (I think for $100), but I don't recall specifics. There were three separate rooms for single-dancers, short-VIP and longer-VIP.
There were a few cute dancers (6-7 range, I would say), who in general were friendly and nice, and mostly drinking with customers. This is a bikini club, so no one was even topless, and they all said they had to keep their tops on for the dances, with limited over-the-clothes touching offered. So the pricing for this seems a bit ridiculous. If it were $10 / dance, with cheap beer, I could see this place being packed and a lot of fun. But at $27 for a no-real-contact clothed dance, after cover, it seems out of touch with most places in the industry.
