A fun time at Taboo

So I found myself staying overnight at the Newark airport and wanted to seek out a club. Taboo seemed to have some reasonable reviews and it wasn't too far from the hotel at which I was staying and so I got a Lyft and went. The parking lot seemed to have a valet attendant (but since I Lyfted, I didn't pay anything). Cover charge was $10 on this Saturday at about 12:30 am (actually Sunday morning).

The main room is very large and it is nearly totally taken up in the center by a rectangular bar with seating all around. The stage is in the center of the bar with three poles and at the time I was there, there were three girls dancing at any one time. This must be one of the "go-go" bars in New Jersey as there really wasn't any nudity to speak of during the "dances" on stage but many of the dancers would flash their boobs. Did not see anyone flash pussy. There were probably 20 girls working and most all were well proportioned and attractive. I would guess ages in the 20s - 30s and I would rate the dancers 6-8 on the proverbial 10-point scale. Many of them were Latina from Cuba, Dominican Republic, Colombia. I met one white dancer who was from St. Petersburg, Russia.

My Modelo was $8 with tip. There was a pretty frequent tip walk during my time and it was sort of weird in that the dancers who were on the stage walked around the rectangular bar soliciting for tips (no weird) but then any of the other dancers who happened to not be sitting with any customers would also walk around for tips (weird -- as they didn't really do anything to earn them). While tipping, you could usually stick the dollar in the top of a bikini or at the G-string.
