I'm afraid freakish describes all my experiences with this club too. I want it to be a good club and I haven't given up on it yet, still stopping by every three to six months to see if it's improved. And they certainly are trying to get it to work. The owners must be hemoraging cash, though, so I'm sceptical how long the place will stay open. Last time I went, the prettiest dancer was way too heavy to be a stripper, but she worked the pole well. A couple had what I'd generously call horse faces. One was sweet though and tried to give a good dance (you feel sorry after a while and give a charity dance to some of them, because you know they need to make rent) and another complained about how little money she was making (not a good way to gain sympathy when most guys could stay home if they wanted to hear a woman whine). Tried the back room once, a while ago. It was well lit and overpriced, whereas the main room has lots of dark corners and is less expensive. Unfortunately the main advantage here of dark corners is that you can't see the dancer you're paying. And it's not that dark.
