Under Renovation and Pricey!

Every six months or so I pop back into Bare on a west coast visit. As other reviewers have mentioned, this place used to be fantastic. Nude girls walking the floor, typically all incredibly attractive. Since those pre-covid days - prices have gone up and quality has gone down. There are no nude girls roaming the floor. There are barely stage dances until later in the evening. You know it's a bad sign when the parking attendant tells you they just raised the price to park. 10 bucks for parking? 20 bucks for admission? 1 drink mandatory? So you're out like 40 bucks without even a stage tip. This place IS NOT vegas rhino.

On this particular evening, the place was under renovation. The men's bathroom was closed so we were urged to use the female bathroom. Unknowing to me the strippers still used that bathroom. There's nothing like coming out of the stall and seeing a butt naked stripper in fluorescent light squatting in the corner. Why she was squatting I have no idea. I digress.

In the main stage area, I noticed many of the hotter girls sitting either by themselves or with equally hot friends in reservation only booths. That left the less attractive "wanna dance" types to circulate the floors while the hotter ones were standoffish. I also noticed the DJ would rotate some of the less attractive girls on stage without any of the hotter ones ever going on stage! There were not any 2 for 1 promotions in the 2 hours I was there.
