Smiles, Ass, and Coffee for the Price of an LD

I used to drop in here pretty regularly a few years ago but stopped bothering since, at the end of the day, you are paying a premium for nothing more than overpriced coffee, a few glances of T&A, and a bit of conversation (if that). I was still happy to see it show up on my feed recently from some fellow H-town mongers' reviews so I decided to visit again on a recent Monday to consider what value, if any, is available here.

The place is located at the end of a typical Houston strip center integrated with a gas station and does have a small drive thru window, which I've never used because why in the world would you even come here at that point. The inside consists of a single, decent-sized square space with a single bar height table (uncomfortable) and is mostly dominated by the L-shaped coffee bar. A transparent plastic barrier separates you from the girls/prep area and is also usually sporting a ton of random signage, including a notice that you have 15 minutes max to hang out with the girls before they will kick you out. Never experienced it myself, but no girls have ever been interesting enough to require it anyways. There's really nothing else remarkable about the interior besides the gigantic Jessica Rabbit mural on the wall and the fact that they do their best to make the whole place smell like club perfume as possible. Music can be loud sometimes and I think it is to the discretion of the girl working so sometimes conversation is just not an option.

If you time your visit properly, you will likely have the whole place/barista to yourself but around lunchtime, the place can become a creepy sausage-fest which, depending on how sadistic you are feeling, may actually be the most entertainment the venue can offer. I watched a guy bring a whole-ass plant and give it to one of the baristas and her uncomfortably accept it so there's some PL interactions happening here in broad daylight that may give you a confidence boost about your lifestyle.
