Unexpected Surprise at a Mediocre Club

While passing through Rancho Cordova on a Thursday night I decided to scope out the local talent and stumbled upon Pure Gold Showgirls. Almost missed it since it’s tucked inside an adult store, never seen that setup before. Rolled in around 9 PM; can’t recall if there was a cover charge.

The vibe was off from the get go. Place felt dead and the dancers looked like they’d rather be anywhere else. As soon as I stepped in two of them cornered me, blocking my view of the stage, pushing hard for a private session at $120. Neither was my type, carrying extra pounds, so I brushed them off and headed to the stage. Not a great start.

The joint is tiny and dimly lit. No bar in sight so make sure to get your buzz on before arriving. There are two stages but only one was active. Despite the “full nude” label most girls kept their bottoms on.
