Change of pace

It was a Tuesday evening, and after working all day, I was feeling antsy. Normally, I’d head to the Galleria clubs since they’re the closest, but this time, I decided to take a gamble and check out this off-the-beaten-path spot again.

The parking lot wasn’t full, and once inside, I saw why—it was dead. Maybe one or two other customers, no waitress in sight, so I went straight to the bar. Grabbed a Michelob Ultra for $5, the happy hour price before 8 PM. It was 7:45—just made it.

One unique thing about this place is the waterfall right on the stage. You don’t see places built like this anymore. The dance area is tucked away in the back, dimly lit but not private. There’s a VIP section on the balcony, but I didn’t bother asking about it.
