Arrived Too Early

On a recent cold Sunday evening I decided to visit Dream Girls. I hadn't been there in a very long time, and I wanted to see what it's like these days. Unfortunately, I didn't realize how early it was. Turns out on Sunday they open at 7:00 PM, and I arrived at 7:05 --which explained the basically empty parking lot.

I decided to go inside anyway. The cover is usually $10 unless there's a featured performer (porn star) there, wand then it shoots up to $20 or $25. The door guy apologized for there being so few girls there, and was kind enough to waive my cover. I did have to check my coat for a couple of bucks, though.

Once inside, I confirmed that, yes, it was more or less dead. I sat at the bar and the server got me a Michelob Ultra for $8. Since there was no one on stage to look at, I just played on my phone for a while.
