Groovin at Kittens

Went to Kittens on a Friday night. Arrived around 7 PM. Plenty of free parking in there lot. Location is a bit funky as you are at the ocean and there’s alot of Marinas and boat supply businesses nearby buy and then there’s a strip club.

Five dollar cover to enter all day everyday. Dude at the door will ask to see your ID but no scan. If he’s not there the bartender will ask for the cover when you order a drink. I’ve never seen a waitress there so your own your own to go to the bar and order your own drinks. Place is not that big do not a big deal. Bar is cash only. I paid $9 for a 16OZ IPA in a van so ok price. Bud and other lighter beers were a buck or two cheaper.

When you enter the bar is to your left and the stage is in front of you a bit to your right. Bathroom just past the bar. About 15 seats around the stage with a handful of tables on either side. Also a few bar top tables in front of the stage. Chairs at the stage recently replaced so reasonably comfortable. To the back left a room with a pool table. Lap dance area to the far right after you pass the stage.

Crowd was mostly older blue collar guys. Friendly enough having fun pounding bud lights with there buddies. I did see two couples during the course of the evening. Dancers were into getting funky with the girls at the stage. My wife has been here as well and felt comfortable. As the evening went on place actually got a good crowd.

Dancers were a mix of young and older (20’s to late 30’s). Good mix of Latina AA and white girls. One blasian. This use to be a place where old strippers went to die or crack whores came to make money for supplies. You may still see one or two on a given night (which is ok for laugh) but overall the quality of the girls is reasonable. I say most are middle of the road but you’ll get one or two that will turn your head. As I said this is a blue collar locals place so keep your expectations in line with the venue and it’s an ok to unwind.
