Dive Bar With Boobs. It's that simple
I find a certain amount of comfort at The Bullet. The club itself is really just a dive bar with top less women but like....who can beat that, right?
My most recent visit was a Wednesday night and I expected it to be dead as a door nail, but was actually fairly busy with about 6 or 7 girls working and most of the tables taken up by customers.
The venue itself is a small, one room club with a large L shaped bar. Middle of the room has about 8 high top tables and a stage that is maybe 6 inches off the ground that extends to a cat walk down the middle of the room. Pool table and some slots.
I usually like to get in, get a drink and throw a $20 in the slots to unwind and survey the land. I was drinking High Noons, $5 a pop. Nothing that came in a bottle or can was more than that. I bought a girl a vodka cranberry and was waiting to regret it as I'm used to dancer drinks being hiked...$5.50
There in lies the real treat of this place. Nothing is expensive. $20 daces take place in the back of the room on stools. You're behind the DJ booth but definitely not private. No touching of the boobs although I've had girls guide me there after laying out the rules, respect for the rules goes a long way.
I got three dances from two different girls. One was a thicker girl, probably a 5 who was just the first to approach me and at $20 a song it's kind of hard to say no. Next girl was a 8/10 athletic brunette with glasses. She was very fun and friendly, nothing out of the ordinary. Neither dances were the best I've gotten at the bullet but neither the worst either.
If you sit at the tables that are closest to the stage/cat walk, the girls come and sit on the table and will give you motorboat or something similar for a tip.
The only thing negative I can really say about this place it's out of its control, the clientele just is not my favorite. Not in a dangerous kind or seedy kind of way but with the prices what they are, you can tell guys come in for the cheap drinks, dont tip, and in general just don't observe some common strip club etiquette. For example, I was going to get a dance from a third girl, a cute goth looking thick brunette, to close out my night. Some dude just rolled up to my table and took her. Should've been quicker I suppose, but never would I think about approaching and interrupting a girl working a guy.
That's a minor complaint. End of the day, this is really one of my favorite spots to stop. I never leave here feeling like ive crossed a line or over spent my budget like Im capable of doing at higher end clubs once the booze start flowing. You never feel pressured. The drinks are cheap and the girls are usually far better looking than you'd expect rolling up to a little dive bar looking place. One of the most beautiful women I've ever seen was dancing here the first time I came! Being a college town you just never know what you're going to get. If youre looking for more than cheap beer and gridning this isnt it, but youre not going to have a better night in Champaign either.
