Lust: a mixed review
I visited a 6-8 weeks ago on a Friday from about 6:30-11:45 pm. The building is large with a fair amount of on-site parking. Parking seemed safe enough and I could park right near the building entrance. The building is large and the exterior is maintained.
Entry is weird, like many WV clubs. Hard to notice entry door, ring bell after a minute or so someone comes and lets you into the small "foyer." ID scan (yuck!) and $10 cover at 6:30 from a pleasant, cheerful middle aged guy. There is a metal detector but he waved me around it -- guess I'm old and middle-class harmless looking. Another weird point was that on trying to leave via the same door, another employee barked at me and pointed me across the room to another door (exit only.) I guess that makes sense given the cover collection, metal check process around the tiny entryway but I could have done without the nastiness.
Beers are inexpensive -- $4 for a bottle of Bud. Dances are NOT inexpensive, entry level is $100 for 15 minutes. I figured the $4 price was a Happy Hour price but I was still paying $4 when I left. A couple of times I asked for water and got free glasses of ice water. I don't know if mixed drink prices are such a bargain, especially on a Friday night. I looked at the menu but it was expensive and not appealing. Most foods was $25, if I remember right and appetizers either $15 or $20.
