Solid visit

This is my second visit to Tootsie's. Used to go during the week. Please see my prior review about the weekday visit (cover, dance, drink...). This time decided to try Friday evening. No cover before 5 pm. They have this parade at 4 pm. Every dancer has to line up and walk on the stage. More than 50 dancers. Mind blowing when you see so many ladies. Great opportunity to have an idea of the talent on that day. Also 2-for-1 offered at 4 pm. Two dances for only $26. Dancers seem more into the pole dance compared with the weekday. More tricks and energy. I guess to catch more attention from the people. More diversity as well. More American white compared to mostly cubanas during the week.

Before 5pm, you are allowed to go to 2nd floor for free. I like to hang out a little bit there. Because music is less louder. You grab a beer and sit at a booth. Still great view. But more enjoyable experience. VIP room small $100, large $150 for half an hour. The small room has a couch and a tiny table. Very discreet. The large room has 2 couches. And you can adjust the music volume via a remote. Couches are more comfy too. But I think the small room is the bargain. I heard the price goes up at night. Small $150, big $200. And they have a special room "skybox". $400 maybe. Just for the room. Have never gotten a chance to see it.

Now back to main stage on the 1st floor. It was Friday. This place starts to get crowded. At 8 pm, they start to put the signs of reserved on the little tables before the stage. So the rumor might be true that now for the weekend, they charge $100 if you want a table.
