The "Cheers" of NJ Go Go Bars

I've been meaning to review this place for quite some time! This review will be a composite of visits over the course of many visits for approx ten years. I won't go into the layout of the bar as many previous reviews have done that.

This is definitely the most regular's kinda joint that I've come across in nj, maybe anywhere for that matter. I've been there at all different times of the day and week and it's usually pretty packed. The way to think of Clancy's is a more relaxed and informal Johnny A's or Breathless. The girls are pretty much all Brazilian and one notch (a slight one) below in terms of attractiveness. This is a small blue collar bar atmosphere without a vip area, so if that's not your bag, better go elsewhere. There is a smallish lap dance room that can accomodate approximately 5 dances at once.

On this particular trip, I waltzed in around 3pm on a Monday and there were about 15 customers and 10-12 dancers working. Several of the customers were on a first name basis with the bartender, hence a local's place. I chatted with several dancers and all were friendly. There is a regular dollar train at the bar but I wouldn't characterize it as excessive. I had a total of approx 12 dances from 4 different dancers and had a good experience for the most part. One of my dance sessions was VERY friendly and we both came close to the edge but was utimately able to keep things in check. Girls can be very friendly at the bar with some otp and even itp playing and even though the lap dance area is an open room with multiple dances going on, things can get quite heated.
