Waste of time and money on a Monday

Satin Dolls was not far from where I was staying - midtown/Times Square in Manhattan, and I stopped by on a whim around 11pm. Neither of the two doormen asked for ID or did any pat down. Inside the cashier charged a $20 cover.

The space inside was small. There was a bar on the left with a few seats and a narrow walkway past to another set of doors. Through the doors was another small space, this time with a stage on the left and a padded bench on the right. I think there were a couple of tables too.

The space was nice enough, but what the club lacked was dancers. There were none. After stepping into the back area and seeing an empty stage and room I turned around to leave. I bumped into one dancer asking where I was going. I thought maybe other dancers would show up, so I sat down.
