Long awaited return

Was visiting a friend in Atlanta last weekend and went to Pink Pony on Sunday evening. Got there at 5:30pm and stayed until 8:30pm. No cover til 7pm and $3 for self parking. Small lot for self parking area so I guess they want to make money on the valet. Looked safe and well maintained, with a security car parked there.

We used to go to Oasis but now that it’s closed we are looking for a new hangout bar. This was the first strip club I went to in Atlanta back in the late 90’s and my friend was living inside the perimeter. When he moved outside it in the early 2000’s, we only went to clubs outside the perimeter so I haven’t been back here since maybe 1999.

Club is medium size, basic bar atmosphere. There was a DJ playing and the announcements were very garbled. Club allows smoking so for me not pleasant. 9 TVs around the club. 2 large wrap-around bars in the front of club and a larger wrap-around bar running down the side where a dancer would dance on. There are 2 small stages in the front next to the bar and a long runway stage down the middle of the club, paralleling the larger bar. They are full liquor. Miller Lt bottle for $7 (bartender said they never have drink specials). They serve food, basic bar menu. Men’s room is good size w/ 2 stalls, 7 urinals, and 3 sinks. It was clean with a bathroom troll (he was still setting up at 5:30).
