Medoicre visit
Wasn't planning on stopping in to CB but was in the area on a Sunday afternoon earlier this month, so . . . . couldn't resist. There's no cover during the day, and only $5 later on, although I actually never show up there in the evening. The parking lot is OK at best; you can just as easily park across the street at Jerry's Nugget and walk over. (Gamble, eat at their good coffee shop, or grab a drink if you don't want to make your free parking look too obvious before walking over to the strip club.)
The parking lot had 7-8 vehicles, so I new there were quite a few customers. Walked in from the bright sunlight and proceeded to bump into a table. Was soon "escorted" to the bar by a dancer who nicely gave me the SH on the way there. Bought her a shot and a Modelo for myself, leaving the $2 change for the bartender. Turns out the gal wasn't my type; she was a rather stocky and older Latina. So I excused myself as politely as possible and sat out on the floor with the several other PL's and watched a few of the dancers who took their turns on stage. (I won't bother with the room description since I and many other reviewers have adequately covered that before.) I tipped a few of them, but didn't recognize any from my previous visits. So I basically spent a couple of hours hoping to encounter some of my favorite daytime gals like Sofia, Gina, Sondra, or Brianna. No such luck, which was surprising and disappointing.
There were a few younger Latina dancers who I'm sure were new to CB, so I connected with three of them for VIP sessions. In each case I ended up with just the one song for $25 because I just didn't click with any of them. They sort of just went through the motions with no "sell" invovled that would entice me to switch to the 5-4-100 upgrade. I ended up giving up after two hours and left before the shift change at about 5:00. Spent about $100 in total, which was an inexpensive visit, but also not a very satisfying one.
