Couple Visit - North Woods

Eagle River – Thursday mid-June. First time visiting a club in the North Woods. I attended the club with my wife, so your experience may vary. The club is very close to downtown, no hotels or Ubers; just vacation rental country. We drove over and the club had ample parking. Arrived a little after 11pm. The parking lot was half full.

Club: Door woman took $10 cover per person, scanned ID. The club has a bar at the entrance. Private dance area with a separate rope and security woman. The stage area is in a different room to the left of the entrance with seats around one stage and some tables around the walls. Smoking section with big glass windows overlooking.

Bar / Dance Area / Staff: $5 a beer. Place was packed at 11pm, but thinned after 12pm. Mix of older regulars, groups of friends vacationing, and a younger bachelor party. Most guys were wearing fishing hats, t-shirts, and shorts. No other couples. The all-female staff was on top of the older drunks, kicking out four of them for repeatedly touching the dancers on stage. The DJ was very judicious with warnings, announcing over the music. People kept to themselves, but overall were friendly / drunk.
