Bucktail Gentlemen's Club

Eagle River – Thursday mid-June. First time visiting a club in the North Woods. I attended the club with my wife, so your experience may vary. The club is very close to downtown, no hotels or Ubers; just vacation rental country. We drove over and the club had ample parking. Arrived a little after 11pm. The parking lot was half full. Club: Door woman took $10 cover per person, scanned ID. The club has a bar at the entrance. Private dance area with a separate rope and security woman. The stage area is in a different room to the left of the entrance with seats around one stage and some tables around the walls. Smoking section with big glass windows overlooking. Bar / Dance Area / Staff: $5 a beer. Place was packed at 11pm, but thinned after 12pm. Mix of older regulars, groups of friends vacationing, and a younger bachelor party. Most guys were wearing fishing hats, t-shirts, and shorts. No other couples. The all-female staff was on top of the older drunks, kicking out four of them for repeatedly touching the dancers on stage. The DJ was very judicious with warnings, announcing over the music. People kept to themselves, but overall were friendly / drunk. Performers: Ten in a two-song rotation on stage. 8 white of varied body types, 2 hisp or mix. No spinners, they were all in the 6-8 appearance range, and pleasant overall. Each did a tip walk after preforming. For an “all nude” club, only two dancers removed bottoms on stage during our two-hour stay. Dances: It was difficult to get dances. Tip walk was the only chance to talk. My wife took a chance on a tall, well-endowed dancer, wearing a wig. I don’t think they get may women patrons, but many dancers were nice to my wife. She opted for the VIP fifteen, which was more of a sub-par normal dance. No touching beyond sides of the breast (she had piercings). It was an extremely unenthused dance. After paying the dancer mentioned she never danced for a woman before. Felt like she was NOT OK with it. Constantly told my wife the bouncer was watching. The “nude” aspect of the VIP was just for the last song and added no excitement. Overall: I would stick to the dance floor and opt out of dances. Affordable drinks, fine dancers on stage and overall good experience. Not a place for extras, but they don’t push dances. For a tiny club in the middle of the woods, it was decent. Budget was $300, spent $225. - $10 entry - $5 domestic beer - $40 topless (didn’t do this) - $150 VIP (did 15 min, they also offer 30 min for $300) - No touching in VIP (experienced only 1 dancer, so YMMV)

I was in Eagle River in mid-February, stopped by BuckTails. I was there a couple summers ago, not much has changed. There is a bar area with stools, and the stage is in a room to the side of the bar. There are private dance options available in a back area kind of between the bar room and the stage room. There is also an elevated area in the stage room where you can sit with a dancer and drinks. I went back to BuckTails as, since Weasels and Frontier both closed down years ago, it's the only option in the area. I was hoping that this place might have improved a bit, but, left disappointed. There is nothing awful about it, just nothing great, either. They scan ID's at the door, which is a drag, and the crowd seems to consist of a few locals but mostly folks up to fish / hunt / snowmobile. The dancers I have seen there are a mix of race, age and looks. On my last visit, there were none that fit the "spinner" type I so enjoy. There were a couple black dancers and a couple white dancers, the youngest probably early 20's, the oldest probably mid-30's. I did not partake in a lap dance or a private dance as the dancers did not appeal to me. I did toss a few ones to the dancer on stage, just to be polite. I wish there were more I could report, but, in a way, that's the point. There is nothing terrible about this place, but, I just don't dig the vibe. Scanning ID's is not cool and the crowd, at least the times I have been there, has a heavy fraternity boy vibe. If that's your thing, you'd probably enjoy this place. If you are looking for mileage, I would say it seems unlikely here. Again, though, I have not had a private dance here so cannot say for sure. I just know the whole place feels pretty "regulated", the lap dances I witnessed others getting were nothing special and did not lead me to want one. And, believe me, if the dancers- and, the dances- were hotter, I am definitely one to partake. Definitely. To be fair, if you're just looking for a spot to grab a few beers and look at some dancers, you could do worse. It's clean, there is lots of parking... For me, however, I have not been impressed with the dancers I have seen and, again, just don't like the overall vibe of this place.

I stopped by this club about 8:00PM on Friday night. the club opens at 6:00PM and is only open on Thursday. Friday, and Saturday. the club is on the west side of town a couple miles to the west then south on Co. highway H. when you walk in the place, you go down a hallway, thru another door, where you meet the door man. there is a $10 cover change. no id scan. when you walk in the club the bar is right in front of you just a little to your right. as far as I can tell it looked like a full bar. the bathrooms are to the right of that. the main dance area is to the left in another room. the stage is on the smaller size with just one pole. there were a couple of other rooms not in use. lap dance and VIP areas were beyond the bar and to the left. lap dances were $30 a song topless only, no touch. VIP for 15 minutes were $150, full nude some touching from the waist up. there were 8 dancers that night all white in the 5 to 8 eight range. at one point the bar tender got on stage and did a dance set, she was in her upper 40s but looked great and put on quite a show. this is a full nude club. I got a VIP dance and was happy with dance, good grind from the dancer. there was one other dancer I really wanted to meet, but never got the chance as she was busy with her regulars. the building looks like it was at one time to be a night club and restaurant. one of the dances told me the strip club had been there since 2019. or so she said. if I ever get back to this area I will return.

First off, the bar and stage are in different rooms. No seating at the bar. The stage is limited on seating but it also wasn’t super crowded when I went. Beer prices were $4. The staff was friendly and didn’t lurk over you constantly. The dancers didn’t do a tip walk. Expect to have titties rubbed in your face at the stage. Pricing for a vip dance started at $150 (15 minutes) but they had cheaper options for one-three songs. Some of the girls allow you to touch them too. Definitely recommend this place. Negatives: the place is small and kind of dirty but still had a fun time.

The stage and bar area are in separate rooms. Also there is no seating at the bar so you can’t sit there and enjoy the view. The stage area seating is very limited with only 5 tall top tables to sit at with 3-4 stools per table. Single chairs lined the stage. If you go in before 7pm no girls are around so you can stand by the bar or sit at a table. On a Thursday night there were 11 dancers on and were probably 6-7 average. The crowd grew after 7 so if want a table don’t show up too long after 7. The dancers were very engaged with the patrons and weren’t pushy at all for dances. I had a young 20 something provide me company pretty soon after 7. We talked for a while until she needed to go on stage. After the dance she asked how long I planned to stay. I said not too long and she almost shyly asked if I wanted a private dance. Dances are at 2 price points. At $30 you get a topless lap dance with no touching. Not sure how many songs or how long. Option 2 is $150 for 15 minutes nude with touching allowed. I choose option #2. My dancer did a lot of grinding and humping, but no hands by her. She let me rub her tits and kiss her neck. The 15 minutes went quick and I didn’t get off. Left the dance wanting more. If I’m in the area again I will return because they are only one around. If the setup was different for seating I’d have enjoyed it better. Some renovations seem to in process so perhaps they’ll address this issue.

Bucktail Gentlemen's Club is a newer strip club that has been open less than a year. Most of the clientele are ATV riders and vacationers in the summer and snowmobilers in the winter. I visited Bucktail Gentlemen's Club at 21:45 on a Saturday night. When I arrived, the gravel parking lot south of the building was completely full. There is only a limited amount of space cut out from the forest, so I had to idle until someone left and freed up a parking spot. There was a $10 cover charge at the door. They put a bracelet on your wrist to give you in-and-out privileges for the night. An ice cold Sincweiser was $4. A Coke in a sixteen ounce glass was $3. The inside of the club is not very spacious, and it was hard to move around without bumping into people. As you enter, the restrooms are to your immediate right. Moving forward into the building, a room with a small bar is to the right. The VIP stage roost is in a small room to your left. The far back room is where the main (and only) stage is located. There is an outdoor patio beyond a door in the bar area where you can smoke and escape the claustrophobia. The music is a mix of everything, but it skews mostly towards rock. There were twelve dancers working on Saturday night. There were a few smoking hot dancers and a number of average to below average ones. Contact at the single-pole stage was generous for a tip; dancers would rub their boobs in your face. There is no set price for private dances. Dancers are allowed to charge however much they want for VIP sessions and lap dancers. You will get a better deal if you can negotiate like Christopher Voss or are a regular. Just to give you a hint, I ran into dancers looking for between $20 and $30 per song. One bouncer's full-time responsibility is to watch the cameras in the private dance room and VIP room. Touching is not allowed, or at least touching in the sightlines of the cameras. Marisa: White, brown hair, D cups, a little thick, Chinese symbol tramp stamp, 5. There were very few chairs and tables, so I was stuck standing with my drink the entire time. The VIP stage roost is rented out for $190 and up for two hours, $350 and up for four hours, and $500 and up for the entire night. Bottle service starts at $175. Bucktail Gentlemen's Club opened on November 1, 2019 and is already extremely popular. They should consider expanding their square footage. With no way to stay socially distant inside, I will put Bucktail Gentlemen's Club on the back burner for the moment, but I may return when the world returns back to normal. The club is open on Thursdays from 18:00 to 02:00 and on Fridays and Saturdays from 18:00 to 02:30. Entertainers do not start dancing until 19:00. The final Thursday of every month features an Amateur Night with a $200 top prize.
