Copa Havana

Cabaret II is on the far east side of the Portland area in Gresham. Cover was like $5. I love the setup of this bar because it's like a small arena -- stage with seats around it, then three levels of seating so you've got a good view no matter which way you go.

Drinks were $5-6 for a beer. Not sure what liquor drinks cost. It was a little slow in the early evening but started to pick up around 9 p.m. when we left. A LOT of good-looking girls. There seems to be a Havana-to-Gresham pipeline that ends at Cabaret. Lots of Cuban girls there who speak very little English. The Google Translate app will be your friend, although the girls overpromise in Spanish too, haha. There are some SOLID hardbodies here. Crowd is generally majority Latino. I've been on the weekends and this place gets PACKED but Tuesday night was very manageable. Sometimes girls are talking with certain guys and won't leave their man.

Had an interesting and slightly odd experience where an 18 y/o girl was dancing and had a tampon string poking out. Honestly I didn't care. But apparently the girls were laughing at her, and once someone alerted her she went back to the pole and wouldn't really move. I wanted to get a dance from her but I think she was hiding and embarrassed.
