sinclair's Review
I went to Big Bon’s on a Friday night around 22:00. Big Bon’s is in the middle of nowhere. The club does not have a liquor license, but you can drink alcohol inside the building as long as you put it in a red Solo cup, which you are given after paying the cover charge at the bar. The cover charge is $20. Most patrons will routinely be walking out to their pickup trucks throughout the night to refill their red cups with beer or liquor. The parking lot was muddy and had craters filled with water from the melting snow. The bartender sells cans of soda for $3, bottles of water for $2, Red Bull for $5, candy and chips for $2, and frozen pizzas for $10. The room you enter has a bar on the back wall with eight stools and six video slots on the right wall. The left wall opens up to a second room where the stage and private dance closets are located.
A typical night will have between four and six dancers working. Dancers are not in the same league as Las Vegas or Miami, but there are generally a couple that are doable after slamming a six-pack of Sincweisers. Dancers go up on the large square stage, eventually stripping down to topless. The stage has one spinning pole. Dancers will get off stage and interact with tippers on the random couches surrounding the stage, giving short lap dances or doing other tricks. There is plenty of two-way contact during the stage shows. When things got slower later in the night, one dancer spent her whole stage set riding me on one of the stageside couches.
Private dances are $25 per song and take place in “mop closets” with benches inside on the far left wall of the building. Dancers strip down to topless during private dances and customers can touch all over as long as they don’t slip a finger in the pudding hatch. There are two VIP rooms for longer private dance sessions. Fifteen minutes is $100. Thirty minutes is $200. One VIP room is in a room behind the wall of slot machines. This room is the larger of the two VIP rooms. It has a pole and a couch inside. The newer VIP room is smaller and located along the back wall. It just has a couch inside, but it is still larger than one of the private dance closets. I did private dances and VIP rooms during my visit and would conclude the VIP rooms are the better deal due to having more space. When the time limits are up, the manager or another dancer will knock on the door. The dancer I was with would usually give me an extra minute of time and make the staff knock a second time. All private dance rooms and VIP rooms have cameras, so extras are off the table. Despite this, the level of contact allowed at Big Bon’s is significantly better than any strip club in Wisconsin. Private dances and VIP rooms are prepaid at the bar.
